Prison Cafeteria

The Prison Cafeteria reopened on February 1, 2017, and serves "Prison Meals" recreated from the meals currently provided at Abashiri Prison.
Ticket vending machines are available for visitors from overseas.
The cafeteria has 85 seats and features a bright open ceiling, wooden interiors, and terrace seating.

Office Building (Important Cultural Property)

The historic Office Building houses a café corner and a museum shop where visitors can relax during their visit.

Café Corner
A café space where visitors can take a relaxing break during their tour.
Located next to the library corner, offering a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.


Museum Shop
A museum-operated shop offering items to commemorate your visit.
In addition to guidebooks and research publications issued by the museum, prison-made products are also available.


Local Products Hall
A hall offering local seafood, regional souvenirs, and specialty sweets.
